snapfresh donates nearly 100,000 meals to OzHarvest

As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, snapfresh is proud to have donated 96,058 meals to OzHarvest between March and August 2024.

This initiative is especially significant during a time when many Australians are grappling with a cost-of-living crisis, making access to nutritious meals increasingly challenging for countless families.

Our commitment to helping those in need is a cornerstone of our values, and we take immense pride in being able to make a positive impact in our communities.

The partnership between snapfresh and OzHarvest not only addresses immediate hunger needs, but also contributes to environmental sustainability. By redirecting surplus food, we have successfully prevented 13,652 kilograms of food waste and 627 kilograms of cardboard packaging from entering landfills.

This dual focus on social impact and environmental responsibility underscores our commitment to fostering a healthier community and planet.

At snapfresh, we believe in the importance of giving back. As a meal manufacturer and exporter, our mission extends beyond just providing food; we strive to play a role in alleviating food insecurity and minimising our ecological footprint.

The donated meals are distributed across seven OzHarvest locations: Brisbane, Coolangatta, Cairns, Darwin, Perth, Melbourne, and Sydney. As snapfresh looks to the future, our partnership with OzHarvest remains strong. We are dedicated to continuing our efforts to support the community and drive meaningful change.
